Having learned our lesson at another hotel, we opted for a superior room with two double beds. This put us on the second floor with plenty of space to put things and plenty of natural light. (The rooms downstairs looked a bit dark, so we made the right choice.) The beds were quite comfortable, the bathroom very nice, and there were lots of places to put things in the room. The room, bathroom and entire facility were very clean, and staff followed covid protocols. The room was cleaned daily. There are some nice places to sit outside in a garden atmosphere on the second level where we were as well as on the first level. Overall, the hotel is lovely and appealing. Location of the hotel is a bit further from the center than where we stayed our first time in Merida, which was actually quite nice. It put us closer to Paseo Montejo and close to Santa Lucia Parque and the restaurants there. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I also have to give a shout out to a restaurant on our street, Calle 51, a few blocks down on the right as you head towards Santa Lucia called Sasha's Urban Bistro. The two lunches we had there were brilliant and very reasonable. The restaurant itself is very tasteful and restrained while being light, airy and comfortable.

Wow, our experience here blew me away. First, at time of booking, there were only double beds available and so I just put in the comments that we preferred a king. When we got there, we had a king room! Secondly, I wanted to plan a surprise for my partner's birthday. I asked about having a mariachi band come and then the manager, Mario set the whole thing up for me and I didn't have to worry about it. When the band came, the owner had also bought a birthday cake for us to enjoy, which was a great surprise and very generous. The hotel itself was so cute and both the rooms and common spaces were very comfortable and clean. We walked regularly to coffee shops and the main plaza and even felt safe walking back at night. We hope to be back!

We had a spacious and clean room, which was decorated in a lovely way since we stayed at the hotel for the fist stop in our honeymoon, and the staff were really nice and helpful. Location is great, 10 mins walking to the Zocalo so really quiet at night but close to lots of restaurants and cantinas. We tried the breakfast on our last day and it was delicious! Totally recommend staying here to explore Mérida (the hotel also has a tour company offering tours to the most famous ruins in the area).

We needed a Centro hotel for our last night before flying back home. We greatly appreciated the location of triple rooms on the first floor so that no large bags had to be taken upstairs and did not expect the blackout windows-- a real plus as our room faced the street. The staff were helpful and provided a 2:00 AM wakeup. We did not get to enjoy the breakfast but appreciated the refrigerator where we could store items to get us on our way. We would stay there again.
